Flynn served on Hillary Clinton’s Finance Committee in the 2008 Presidential election from Wisconsin and co-chaired John Kerry’s 2004 Primary campaign for President in Wisconsin. He chaired Governor Jim Doyle’s Judicial Selection Commission and was a regular commentator on Sunday’s Milwaukee television show, “Belling & Co.”, a program devoted to political commentary. A graduate of Yale University and the University of Wisconsin Law School, Matthew served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and Law Clerk to the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.  Matthew J. Flynn is a commercial litigation partner in the firm of Quarles & Brady, LLP, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Matt Flynn is one of Milwaukee’s premiere attorneys and most experienced political hands. A Veteran of the US Navy and graduate of Yale and University of Wisconsin Law School, Flynn’s curiosity and candor are on full display in his first novel, Pryme Knumber, released in 2012.

In October 2017, Matt announced his run for Governor of Wisconsin.

Matt is a resident of Milwaukee, WI. The follow-up to Pryme Knumber is undergoing the writing and publication process.

    Please run for Governor of Wisconsin. We need a strong candidate and I don’t think Harlow or Soglin will cut it.
